Wedding Reception – example
Mixers are fantastic,
And blenders just divine,
Toasters are to die for,
And crock-pots most sublime.
Ice cream makers wundebar,
And juicers, what a treat,
A set of china could be nice
And silver pretty neat.
But heck, you’re getting five of each,
You wouldn’t want one more,
So here’s my little gift to you,
I promise you’ll adore.
They’re dandy and convenient,
Unusual and unique,
They’re one-of-a-kind and practical,
They’re a gift that’s hard to beat.
Hang them in your bathroom,
In the kitchen, over cabinet doors,
In or outside a closet,
In the bedroom over your drawers.
You’ll never leave them home alone,
They’re handy wherever you go.
You can even take them camping,
In rain and sleet and snow.
Of stainless steel, and brushed no less,
With rubber lining too,
No scratches will they ever make,
No damage will they do.
These over-the-cabinet towel bars
I simply couldn’t resist,
The “organizer” in me won’t allow
Any silly frivolous gifts!
So Mark and Kendra here’s to you,
On your wedding reception day,
Enjoy yourselves, have lots of fun,
And hang up those towels, I say!!
